Earl Thomas not present for Seahawks workouts
Amid persistent reports that the Seahawks will listen to trade offers for Earl Thomas , the All-Pro safety is doing little to quell speculation about a future outside of Seattle.
Thomas was not present for the start of the team’s offseason workout program on Tuesday, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported, via a source informed of the situation.
The 2018 NFL regular-season schedule will soon be here.
Then Hellebuyck and the Jets defense took over.
That’s the guy who’s been there all year for us, Morrissey said.
Jets defenseman Tyler Myers was out with a lower-body injury suffered in a collision with Marcus Foligno in Game 3. He was replaced by Tucker Poolman, a native of Iowa who played in college at North Dakota, on Winnipeg’s third blue line pairing with Chiarot. … Scheifele had a goal and five assists in four games against the Wild during the regular season. … Tyler Ennis took Parise’s spot, skating with Matt Cullen and Charlie Coyle on a new-look third line. Jason Zucker and Jordan Greenway joined Mikko Koivu, and Staal centered Nino Niederreiter and Mikael Granlund. Coyle, Zucker and Niederreiter are without a point in the series.
But, based on the message in his home as well as a motivational workout video Williams released last month, it’s clear he’s drawing inspiration from that mistake.
I’ve always had motivation, but things like that happen and you can just use it as extra motivation, Williams said.
That missed tackle overshadowed a mostly stellar rookie campaign by Williams.
In the bottom of the ninth, when A-Rod did some of his strongest work, Mendoza was largely silent.
ESPN’s dugout reporter Buster Olney also chimes in a lot, making it nearly a four-person booth, which will force Vasgersian to really have to lead as the point guard.
A-Rod will still steal the spotlight as he makes everything he touches a spectacle, for better or worse. This attention is what ESPN wanted with his hire — and should have wanted. If they had put David Ross in the booth or hired Joe Girardi, there would be no opening review here.
